Bottom line is this…we need to raise our expectations to encounter God every day. He has a plan for our lives, it is a bold plan, a grand plan, one that we can’t even imagine. Our expectations set the ceiling for our experience. It’s like saying, this is my limit. So…in order to seek, understand, fulfill, and live out His plan, we need to raise our expectations to His level. I hope you will join me in expecting nothing less than Heaven everyday. Now that is bold.

The greatest tragedy of life is not being truthful with yourself…and with God. I’ve often told the story of my former spiritual director telling me I needed to pray, ‘Lord, show me how You see me. That is by far the hardest prayer I have ever made. And it took me a few times to really mean it.
