America…the comfortable…WAKE UP!
America…you are weak. We call ourselves a Christian nation and then we live and act like pagans.
Do I Glorify the Lord?
I don’t know about you, but that describes a place I desire to be. A Church. Not a brick and mortar place, but a people “set apart” for one purpose. TO GLORIFY! For me, bringing God glory has been about learning to Love. I have and continue to learn not judge or berate or belittle; but instead to love, to commend, and to build up.
Is it "I can't", or "I won't"?
The greatest tragedy of life is not being truthful with yourself…and with God. I’ve often told the story of my former spiritual director telling me I needed to pray, ‘Lord, show me how You see me. That is by far the hardest prayer I have ever made. And it took me a few times to really mean it.
