American Made Politicians

I have to post this, it is the most ironic thing I think I’ve ever seen!

Our congress and our President have vowed to create more jobs, attempting to limit jobs sent overseas, etc. Yet in reading this article, it seems to me the car of choice for our elected officials is a Toyota! And now they want to cry and spend our tax dollars on hearings to discover their cars may have defects.

So, let’s be clear….

1) Our tax dollars paid these people to buy cars made overseas
2) they have promised us to make more american jobs, yet they won’t put their money where their mouth is
3) now they are going to spend more of our tax dollars to complain in public that their cars don’t work like they want them too.

Maybe we wouldn’t own GM if more of our elected officals gave a crap about our citizens jobs.

Just my two ironic cents.

Also, just so you know…

- I don’t care if you like Toyota…I don’t…
- I don’t care if you voted for so and so, or are part of the party that is going to “fix” us, whichever party that is.
- I don’t care if you think we should or should not own GM.
- Lastly, I don’t care if you think non-American made cars are better…there are plenty of cars made right here that aren’t owned by the big 2 (Nissan perhaps)

(ps. the big two is GM and Ford….Chrysler is broke and just doesn’t know it yet.)

Bottom line, it’s just funny to me….and that’s it.
